These Terms govern use of the website only. They do not replace, modify, or supersede the TNDOSHS-approved enrollment contract or Steer Clear's separate Policies & Expectations applicable to students and participants.
1. Website Purpose
The Steer Clear website provides information about our driver education programs, Driver Improvement Program, class schedules, enrollment procedures, driving services, educational resources, and related services.
Information on the website is provided for general informational purposes and is not intended to constitute legal advice, individualized licensing advice, or a guarantee of any particular outcome.
2. Accuracy of Information
Steer Clear makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and current information on the website.
However, course schedules, availability, pricing, policies, requirements, and other information may change without notice.
Steer Clear does not guarantee that all website information will always be complete, current, or free from errors.
3. Enrollment
Information displayed on the website does not constitute an enrollment contract
Enrollment is subject to completion of the applicable enrollment process, payment requirements, available space, and the terms of the applicable TNDOSHS-approved enrollment contract and Steer Clear policies.
The applicable enrollment contract governs in the event of a conflict between website information and the enrollment contract.
4. Licensing and Government Requirements
Steer Clear provides driver education and related services but does not control decisions made by the Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security, courts, insurance companies, or other governmental or third-party entities.
Nothing on this website guarantees that an individual will:
Obtain a learner permit or driver's license.
Pass a permit or road test.
Have a driver's license reinstated.
Receive a particular number of points reduced.
Satisfy all requirements imposed by a court or governmental agency.
Receive a particular insurance discount.
Have a ticket dismissed.
Achieve any particular legal, licensing, employment, insurance, or court outcome
Individuals with questions regarding their personal driving record, license status, reinstatement requirements, court requirements, or points should contact the appropriate governmental agency or court.
5. Course Availability
Class dates and appointment availability displayed on the website are subject to change.
Displaying a course or appointment on the website does not guarantee that space will remain available until enrollment or booking is completed.
6. Third-Party Services
Steer Clear uses third-party services to facilitate certain website and business functions, including
Squarespace for website hosting and website functionality.
Google Forms for certain online forms.
Google appointment booking services for certain appointments.
Intuit/QuickBooks for certain payment processing.
Use of those services may be subject to the third party's own terms, conditions, and policies.
